Slowly working though my Devestator squad. 7 models done, 3 to go. I’m also finishing the last model for my Ogre Kingdoms army, which wraps up a painting oath I took almost 5 months ago. Added two Crypteks to my Necrons as well, built a Night Shroud bomber for them, but honestly probably won’t get to painting it this month. Will update points after the Devs are done.

Space Marines and Necrons
Alrighty, so my painting is still going slow thanks to a torn rotator cuff. However, I did manage to finish a unit of 3 Centurions for my marines, and just finished up a devestator marine as well. I have 8 devs left for that squad, and hope to finish another one or two this week. I am also in the process of re-basing my Necrons. They are currently on desert themed bases, which matches a table to my game store. However I am building a table at home that includes the Forge World Necron tile, so I am doing new bases that will match that. Fortunately it doesn’t take a ton of time to paint, and I can make them while watching movies with the wife. My Ogres army is only three models from done as well, and I should finish two of them this week, both characters, leaving just the Thundertusk to wrap up the 2500 point list.

Week Twenty
Nothing new finished this week for the main project. Necrons and Cryx models have been a priority instead. I did manage to basecoat three drop pods and a Mortis Contemptor Dreadnought though, so hopefully I will have some new stuff added next week.
6th edition is wonderful so far and has rekindled my love of several armies that I’ve long set aside.

Week Seventeen
Finished a Storm Talon for my Marines to prepare for my first 6th edition game. Tervigon is still in progess. May take a short break after it is done to work on a side project, a Necron army.

Busy week of painting other peoples models. However, I did manage to finish my second Warhound. Photos of that coming soon. Here are some pics of the Gargoyles I recently painted, plus the Space Marine sergeant.

Week Six
Once more, only added two Gargoyles and the Sergeant for the Tactical Squad. Painting has started on the Warhound Titan, plus a total of four titan weapons. Hoping to make serious progress on the Warhound this weekend, see how the airbrush goes.

So, that adds 16 points to the Tyranids this week. The Imperials will get a big boost soon.
Week Five
Started painting models on consignment again as my full time job, so this project will be in slow but steady mode from now on.
This week I added two more Gargoyles and another Tactical Marine. I started the Sergeant as well, which is the sixth of ten models for that squad. The last two Gargoyles will be tackled next week, then the Nids get to sit for a little bit while other things get tackled. Oh, and I finished priming the Warhound… 🙂 The Knight Paladin is due for priming later today. So, while there is only 16 points added to the Tyranid total, major progress was made with the Titan Legions. The Marines don’t get tallied until the whole squad is done.
